Family and Individual Travel

Domaine du Haut Baran is the perfect location for family reunions and individual travel. From the

comfortable surroundings of the Haut Baran allow us to help you plan the trip of a lifetime in this beautiful

part of France we call the Quercy and Perigord. We can organize for you special family events such as

birthdays , anniversaries , or even weddings !

There are many activities available in our area for children and adults. Bicycling,hiking,walking,kayaking,

canoeing,and horseback riding are just a few of the active adventures you can participate in. Let the children

play in the pool while you relax in the hot tub. We can organize breakfast , lunch , and dinner for you at

Haut Baran or one of our fine local restaurants.

We can organize guided tours of the areas most beautiful historic sites. Come with us and visit Pech Merle

cave with its mysterious natural formations and 25,000 year old prehistoric art. Explore Bonaguil castle,,,

one of France's best examples of 15th century military architecture. Make a pilrimage to Rocamadour as

they did 1000 years ago or go shopping in Sarlat for the areas special products. Explore the local farmers

market or try wine tasting at one of our many wine properties. Local village festivals and antique hunting are

fun too !

Individual Travelers are most welcome. We have a minimum 2 night stay. Transportation , guided touring ,

lunches and dinners , and active activities are available upon request at extra cost.
