Domaine du Haut Baran has created a delightful experience for food and wine enthusiasts.William and Rosalie invites you to faire dégustation de vin as we introduce you to one of the most beautiful wine regions in France.Meet the dedicated people in our area and learn more about Bordeaux wine,Cahors wine,and Bergerac wine from an intimate personal perspective.

Join us for 5 days of wine tasting and sampling the various gastronomic treasures of the region.The Périgord/ Quercy/ Dordogne is famous for its foie gras , truffles and wonderful wine.Dinner is served at Haut Baran and various restaurants in our region including Michelin Star restaurants such as Le Gindreau in Saint Médard and Hostellerie de Plaisance in Saint Emilion. Sample the different wines of the region including  Bordeaux , Bergerac and Cahors .

Visits of the top  wineries will be organized as well as the all important wine tasting. We will combine our gourmet experience with exploring spectacular historical sites of interest such as the monolithic church in Saint Emilion ,Sarlat La Canéda, Rocamadour and Cahors Pont Valentré.

Dinners and lunches are reserved at our best restaurants in the region ,many of them Michelin Star rated !

Saint Emilion is known for its legendary wines including Chateau Angelus,Chateau Ausone,and Chateau Beausejour Duffau Lagarrosse.Cahors wines are becoming more well known with Chateau Lagrezette , Clos Triguedina and Le Cedre helping to lead the way. Bergerac is most famous for its sweet white wine from Monbazillac.
