David R. Smith October 2019

David Smith is a member of the AWS and NWS. David came to visit us at Haut Baran in August and right away we connected as kindred spirit as we noticed that sparkle in his eye talking about our local region and all that it has to offer artists. The mere mention of Saint Cirq LaPopie sent us off into a lengthy discussion about how absolutely beautiful that village and the region is ,,,,, not to mention the local French cuisine and wine ! Knowing the area, David and the Haut Baran has come up with a wonderful itinerary that will tantalize both artist and non-artist alike : Sarlat, Puy l'Eveque, Monpazier and Saint Cirq LaPopie to name a few ! David plans to " pull out all the stops " and share his most valuable watercolor concepts and techniques, addressing your artist goals at a pace that's comfortable for you. With a small group ( 12 on average ) there will be plenty of time for individual attention regardless of your level of experience. David's October dates ( Oct 9-15, leave 16th ) coincides with the grape harvest and making the wine for 2019 ! Email us at hautbaranfrance@gmail.com for David's workshop information file with price, what is included and brief sample itinerary. We hope to see you this autumn at Haut Baran !
