Margaret Evans is a Scottish contemporary artist - tutor - author of numerous teaching art books and dvd's, as well as teaching workshops worldwide. Margaret has a D.A. ( Glasgow School of Art ) A.T.C. ( University of London ) and is a signature member of the Pastel Society of America and a member of the prestigious Glasgow Art Club. The allure of painting in our beautiful region ( Lot and Dordogne valleys ) has seduced Margaret over the years and we are very pleased to announce her first workshop at the Domaine du Haut Baran for 2019 ( August 16-22, leave 23rd ) with exciting new plein air locations to paint ! Alan Flattmann August 2019

Alan Flattmann is a PSA Master Pastelist, renowned painter, teacher and author. Alan was inducted into the Patel Society of America Hall of Fame and is a recipient of the American Artist Art Masters Award for Pastel Teacher. He has taught art workshops since 1968 and has led many painting tours to Europe. We consider Alan an old friend and look forward to his sixth visit to Domaine du Haut Baran ! Join Alan for seven days of plein air painting and sketching ( August 25-31, leave September 1st ) in the medieval villages and countryside along the Lot and Dordogne river valleys. Alan loves the regional cuisine and wine of the area which is just the icing on the cake for painters perfecting their craft in our beautiful region !
